Dr. Michael Kheirallah
Chairperson
Victorian Lebanese Community Council

Dear Dr. Kheirallah,

Congratulatory Message on the 17th Anniversary of the VLCC

It is with great admiration that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Victorian Lebanese Community Council (VLCC) on your 17th anniversary.

As the State Member for Northcote, I am proud to represent a vibrant and diverse community, including a significant number of people with Lebanese ancestry.

Your bonds are strong – forged through years of shared experiences, stories and common cause. A testament to the proud multiculturalism we share in Victoria.

Across the years, all communities face challenges and triumphs. Through these times, the VLCC has been a steadfast advocate for the Lebanese community in Victoria, championing human rights and fostering social cohesion.

Your advocacy and engagement has demonstrated the true essence of community service and leadership – and uplifted the strength and spirit of the Lebanese community in Victoria.

While I am unable to attend your celebration on 9th of August due to prior commitments, please accept my heartfelt support for the work VLCC continues to do and my admiration for the ongoing contributions of the Lebanese community to Victorian culture, economy and society.

Congratulations once again on this significant milestone. I wish you a joyous celebration.

Kind regards,

Kat Theophanous MP
State Member for Northcote
